The Festive Board is the crowning jewel of MasonicCon South, where the bonds of brotherhood and fellowship are celebrated in grand style. This year, the event will be held at Chef Santos in Salisbury, NC, providing an elegant setting for this time-honored Masonic tradition. With speeches, toasts, and a carefully curated menu, the Festive Board offers a perfect blend of formality and conviviality. It is more than just a meal; it is an experience that reflects the values and traditions of Freemasonry, offering a space for reflection, connection, and celebration of the shared journey. Robert (Bobby) Wayne Rideout, Jr. is the Deputy Grand Master and a member of Wendell Lodge No. 565, with honorary memberships in Cleveland No. 202 and Semper Fidelis No. 680. He has served as Chair of the Grand Lodge Committee of Appeals and Past Master of Whitestone No. 155, and is active in the National Sojourners, Scottish Rite, and York Rite. During his deployment to Afghanistan, he joined the Canada Lodge UD, GRC at Kandahar Airfield, the only operating A.F.&A.M. military lodge in the world. Bobby holds degrees from UNCW, LSU, and the U.S. Army War College and serves as a U.S. Administrative Law Judge and Chief Judge for the SSA in Raleigh, NC. In the U.S. Army Reserve, he is a Colonel and JAG officer, having served as a Military Judge with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He has earned multiple military decorations, including two Bronze Stars, and was honored as the 2015 Distinguished Alumnus by UNCW. Bobby is married to Courtney Rideout, and they have two children, Ivan Henry and Daisy Marie.
